Position Description:
Solution Architect will help GDIA teams with the architecture of new and existing applications using Cloud architecture patterns and processes. Works with product teams to define, assemble and integrate components based on Ford standards and business requirements (examples: hardware, software, availability, scalability and reliability). Supports the product team in the development of the technical design and documentation. Participate in proof of concepts and support the product solution evaluation processes. Provides architecture guidance and technical design leadership. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills Required:
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) data architectures Hands-on experience with Cloud Run, Data Flow, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Vertex AI, and other related Google Cloud Platform services Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift / GKE Hands-on experience with Large Language Models, RAG Chatbot solutions. Experience with designing high-availability, high-volume, low-latency technologies In-depth expertise with modern analytics tools and techniques, including data discovery, streaming analytics, and related technologies Ability to document technical solutions clearly and concisely. Ability to perform hands-on POCs in Google Cloud Platform to meet customer demands. Familiarity with Github, Terraform, and CI/CD
Skills Preferred:
Familiar with ML technologies such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, XGBoost, and Python Notebooks. Understands infrastructure architecture, including servers, SAN, networking, firewalls, database, and middleware. Experience with Micro services and SPA application architecture Self-starter, ability to work independently but still can work within a group to deliver top-notch solutions.
