Miracle Software Systems is looking for a Jira Developer with Java Expertise at Dearborn, MI
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Jira workflows to optimize project management and issue tracking.
- Develop custom Jira plugins and add-ons to extend Jira functionality and meet specific business requirements.
- Create and configure Jira dashboards and reports to provide insightful data visualization and track project progress.
- Configure and manage custom fields, screens, and permissions within Jira.
- Integrate Jira with other systems and tools using REST APIs and other integration methods.
- Utilize Java for backend development tasks related to Jira automation and integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Jira issues, providing technical support to users.
- Implement and maintain Jira best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Jira solutions.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes within Jira using scripting and Java development.
- Perform Jira upgrades and migrations as needed.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of Jira configurations and customizations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Jira Developer/Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming.
- In-depth knowledge of Jira administration and configuration.
- Experience developing custom Jira plugins and add-ons.
- Experience with Jira workflows, screens, fields, and permissions.
- Experience with Jira REST APIs and integration with other systems.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with JQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Preferred Skills:
- Jira certifications (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator).
- Experience with other Atlassian products (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
