We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst, who has a proven track record of exceeding expectations and providing world-class service to high-level personnel.
Position Summary:
The Business Data Analyst will provide federal grant management support for our federal customer, General Services Administration, to perform tasks not limited to finance, accounting, information technology, research and analysis, or other program support fields. This position is located in Lakewood, CO, and requires onsite work.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Works in support of the general management and business operation of the LCA program, as well as Region 8 Leasing Division.
- Provides data analysis and research for specific projects related to Novations, File Reviews, Property Tax analysis, Operating Cost Adjustments, and Rent Inquires.
- Supports managers and customers on a variety of tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
- Continuously exercises discretion and independent judgment on the analysis, planning, and/or implementation of important program initiatives.
- Provides basic support of new Business Data Analysts in the form of training, mentoring, and shadowing opportunities.
- Ability to cross train over each LCA region to support other teams.
- Ability to provide support of national initiatives that the LCA program manages. Such as portfolio wide modifications.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must a past federal pre-employment background investigation.
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience includes:
- 4 years experience supporting program data analysis activities with no related degree; OR
- 2 years experience supporting program data analysis activities with related Associates Degree; OR
- No experience with a related BA or BS degree.
- Specializes in data analysis in one or more of the following areas:
- Tax; Finance; Accounting; Budgeting; Auditing; Quality control; Research; Legal and regulatory compliance; Administration.
- Other similar management and operation activities.
- Superior customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to take the initiative and use independent judgment.
- Has held the Business Data Analyst position for at least 1 year.
- Ability to utilize multiple applications, Google Sheets and Microsoft office suite.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Transparent communicator with superior written and oral communication skills.
- Pragmatic team player who is not confined by a job description and is willing step in to assist where needed no task is too big or too small for you.
