Full Stack Developer (React/Python)

Looking to find someone for a 3-month contract to start. If it is a good fit, will hire full time.

Overview: We’re building a modern web app in the healthcare space from the ground up. We’re looking for an experienced full stack developer with a front-end focus to join our team. The ideal candidate would be ready to take ownership of the front-end design on day one and excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment. We are open to full-time or part-time availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust web applications with a strong emphasis on frontend design and functionality.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Django Rest Framework.
• Leverage cloud technologies, particularly with Azure, to deploy and manage applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
• Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, participating in code reviews and contributing to shared knowledge bases.

Required Qualifications:

• Frontend Expertise: Strong experience in front-end development using React.js, including state management, component architecture, and integration with backend services.
• Backend Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with basic REST APIs
• Cloud Provider Experience: Hands-on experience with managing applications on a cloud platform.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git for version control and collaboration.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Self-Starter: Take vague or incomplete requirements and pursue them independently.
• Security Minded: Understanding of and willingness to i basic security best practices

Nice to Have:

• Django REST Framework (DRF): Experience with Django Rest Framework for building scalable APIs.
• Azure Expertise: Understanding of Azure services and proper Azure security best practices.
• UI/UX Design: Experience or strong interest in UI/UX design principles, with the ability to translate design mockups into functional code.
