Position:
This opening is for an in-office Client Service Associate operating out of our headquarters in Pleasanton, California. This is a 40 hour per week position that will report directly to the head of Client Services and work in conjunction with three other CSAs in our office.
The Client Service Associate will be responsible for executing instructions from the firm’s advisors. This includes opening accounts, assisting with client requests, and day-to-day operations related to various third-party partnerships.
A typical day for a Client Service Associate will consist of:
· Fielding client calls into the firm and either processing the request immediately or communicating the request with the client’s advisor for them to instruct on implementation
· Preparing paperwork on behalf of clients
· Monitoring new and existing compliance procedures
· Assisting in or managing new initiatives as they arise for the firm
A successful Client Service Associate should be:
· A proactive thinker capable of envisioning the most efficient way to handle a client request.
· Organized and capable of managing multiple tasks at once
· Taking initiative when tasks or opportunities present themselves
· Reliable in seeing a project through from start to finish
· Comfortable speaking at length on the phone with clients
· Well-versed in financial concepts, terms, and topics or at the very least be excited to learn them. For example, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), Taxable vs Tax-Deferred, Brokerage Accounts vs. Bank Accounts
Education/Experience Background
· Minimum 2 years CSA experience at a financial services company is required.
· Tri-Valley area resident preferred.
