Responsibilities
- Integrating mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
- Design and develop control software using C and Python.
- Improve human-machine interfaces (HMI) for a more user-friendly experience.
- Use SolidWorks to create 3D CAD designs for mechanical and electronic component integration.
- Work on system architecture and virtual design.
- Develop automation strategies and test prototypes.
- Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Collaborate closely with a small and nimble engineering team to solve complex technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in mechanical design, embedded systems, and software-driven automation.
- Strong proficiency in C and Python for embedded systems and control software development.
- Experience with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, for 3D mechanical design.
- Knowledge of integrating microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators into complex systems.
- Experience designing and automating systems that require mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to work onsite in Scottsdale, AZ.
