Job Summary :
Our client is a leading security product supplier in San Antonio, TX. As their operations transition from a basic inventory management system to a full-scale refurbishment and production operation, we are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and optimize this process.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing a structured production process, ensuring quality control, and developing operational efficiencies. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations, you will lead a team of approximately 16 across multiple business lines. This is a pivotal leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in process development, production planning, quality control, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and oversee a refurbishment and production line to ensure all units meet high-quality standards before redeployment.
- Implement structured SOPs and drive continuous process improvement for efficiency and reliability.
- Establish and enforce quality control measures, including inspections, testing, and tracking of refurbished units.
- Set clear KPIs and accountability metrics for the production team to meet operational goals.
- Manage workflow within the facility, including storage, parts management, and refurbishing operations.
- Work closely with other departments, including operations, logistics, and remote distribution teams, to ensure seamless quality and deployment.
- Utilize ERP systems to track production, inventory, and workflows efficiently.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of employees, including hiring, performance reviews, and operational training.
