We’re looking for a FULL TIME LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES to work THE NIGHT SHIFT (7P-7A) alongside medical professionals who bring equal amounts of compassion and expertise to serving the needs of a diverse patient population. Objectives of this role
- Deliver a high standard of medical care according to the specific orders of each patient’s physician
- Work alongside staff members as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team
- Follow a model of care that supports the wellness of our patients and staff
- Serve as a primary source of medical information for patients and caregivers
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment of care for patients and their families
- Taking and monitoring patient vital signs
- Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
- Administering medication
- Communicating changes in patient behavior or health status to nurses, physicians, and family members
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Collecting specimen samples when needed
- Taking an active part in patient care planning
- Overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants and training
- Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
- Assisting in medical procedures
- Managing emergency medical situations
- Bachelor’s of science degree (or equivalent) in nursing
- Licensure as an LPN in the State of Florida
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate in more than one language
- One or more years of experience in a skilled nursing facility
Salary : $28 - $31
