PALMS CARE CENTER, a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lauderdale Lakes, FL is seeking a PRN PHYSICAL THERAPIST to join our staff!
As a Physical Therapist with Palms Care Center, you will perform and document an initial exam on every incoming patient in order to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. You will also identify and document goals as well as anticipated progress and plans for reevaluation.

Responsibilities:
- Testing and measuring patients’ strength, motor development and function, sensory perception, functional capacity and respiratory and circulatory efficiency
- Planning, preparing and carrying out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning
- Instructing patients and families in treatment procedures to be continued at home
- Attending staff meetings and facility meetings
- Participating in continuing education classes

- Possessing a Physical Therapy degree and license in the state of Florida
- Being certified in CPR
- Being physically able to assist individuals
- Having some computer literacy
- Possessing strong listening, speaking, critical thinking and reading comprehension skills
- Being socially perceptive
- Strong time-management skills
Salary : $53
