Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist:
SHIFT: WEEKDAYS AND EVERY OTHER ALTERNATE WEEKEND
UNITY HEALTH AND REHAB, A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY LOCATED IN MIAMI, FL, IS SEEKING TWO FULL TIME RESPIRATORY THERAPISTS TO JOIN OUR TEAM
Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist:
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders
- Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of therapy technician
- Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in this state
- At least 1 year of Ventilator experience, required.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist in long term care, required.
- Must know NetHealth and Point Click Care
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion
- Must be knowledgeable of respiratory therapy procedures
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
- Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc., of the respiratory therapy service
Salary : $26 - $32
