JOB SUMMARY
The Custodial/Housekeeping position is responsible for the overall cleaning and upkeep of the Men’s Locker Room in order to ensure a pleasurable experience for our members and their guests.
Essential Job Functions
- Works to efficiently maintain the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the facility while providing outstanding Member service.
- Continually clean and detail Locker Room areas throughout hours of operation.
- Continually perform facility “walk-throughs” to ensure tidiness and cleanliness in all spaces.
- Clean all assigned areas to Miramont Country Club standards, using proper cleaning supplies.
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude with members and their guests at all times, being ready to assist when needed.
- Monitor supply levels in all areas, replenishing when needed.
- Manage locker room hampers, emptying and requesting pick up as needed.
- Manage the set up and replenishment of member amenities, including coffee area.
- Maintain and perform functions of the laundry; folding linens, separating linens, loading washer/ dryer, and pressing linens.
- Document any deficiencies, including mechanical and electrical problems from the areas you clean and report to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Label and submit all lost and found items to the concierge/receptionist.
- Completes other assignments made by the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper

- Highly responsible and well-organized in tending to Men’s Locker Room area and Member needs.

- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Able to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Job Qualification Standards
The following describes the general qualifications and physical, sensory and mental abilities normally associated with performing the essential functions of this position.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous Locker Room experience in Country Clubs or Hotels preferred.
Physical, Sensory And Motor Demands
- Able to bend and lift 20 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to walk, bend, reach, stretch, and use repetitive arm and leg motions for duration of shift.
