JOB SUMMARY
Provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout the offices and public areas of Miramont Country Club, while following and completing a checklist of tasks in accordance to company standards. General schedule is Tuesday-Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the Clubhouse using appropriate cleaning supplies.
- Ensures all public areas, including restrooms, sitting areas, dining areas, suites, meeting spaces, break rooms, workrooms, and offices, remain clean and presentable.
- Keeps cleaning carts, equipment, storage rooms, and supplies organized and well-maintained.
- Performs laundry duties, including folding, separating, washing, drying, and pressing linens.
- Maintains a friendly, professional demeanor with guests and team members, offering assistance as needed.
- Upholds a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Monitors and replenishes supply levels as necessary.
- Handles company equipment and property with care to prevent damage.
- Identifies and reports any deficiencies, including mechanical or electrical issues, to the Director of Housekeeping.
- Labels and submits all lost and found items to the front desk or night monitor.
- Completes additional duties as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping or management.
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Hotel or private club cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong housekeeping skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with taking direction, as well as communicating with fellow team members within and outside of team.
- Highly responsible and well-organized in tending to the assigned area and beyond.
- Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Remain standing and walking for several hours during a work shift.
- Must be able to stand; walk; climb stairs; bend; stoop; kneel and use hands to finger, handle or feel.
- Must be able to climb a ladder up to 12 ft.
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Must be able to moderate noise levels in the work environment.
- Must be able to handle hot and cold interior and outdoor conditions.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
