Convenience Store Cashier

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Convenience Store Cashier to join our team! Day shift preferred, starting at 5am. Pay negotiable based on experience, starting at $16.

As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that customers receive the correct change and receipts.

In this role, you will greet customers with a friendly smile and assist them in finding the products they need. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, restocking merchandise, and ensuring that shelves are well-stocked. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and notifying the management team when supplies need to be replenished.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
• Provide information and answer customer inquiries
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
• Basic math skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
