What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operational Designer position at MIRATECH Corporation?
Reports to : Supervisor Operational Engineering
Cooperates with : Engineering, Sales, Production
Primary Responsibility : Provide modeling, sales, and fabrication drawings for MIRATECH product lines.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities :
- Complete 3D SolidWorks model modifications for made-to-order MIRATECH products.
- Create Submittal and Dimensional drawings for sales support.
- Create production and assembly drawings for fabrication.
- Dimensional verification and quality control of finished drawings.
- Continuous focus on cost reductions in design and fabrication by working with the production group.
- Understand fabrication design techniques and the cost impact of design assembly drawings and materials.
- Communicate thoroughly and regularly to establish a warm working relationship with internal and external customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
