VIP EXPERIENCE PLANNER (ONSITE)

The VIP Experience Planner is directly responsible for the experience planning process for all VIP guests for Miraval Austin. As a VIP Experience Planner, you are responsible for overseeing the Experience Planning process for Austin VIP guests, developing relationships with guests, and offering helpful suggestions and solutions to their wellbeing planning needs.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to work as part of an effective team and be able to take direction, with the capacity to make decisions that benefit the greater good and always demonstrate exceptional professional judgment

• VIP Experience Planner are fully versed in and experienced with the principles of effective selling

• VIP Experience Planner describes our offerings in an enticing, accurate and descriptive manner while exhibiting a high level of product knowledge.

• The VIP Experience Planner will process guest bookings for room accommodations, spa appointments and one-on-one consultations, as well as handle other diverse and sometimes complicated special arrangements via email and on the phone

• VIP Experience Planner must be able to identify sales opportunities through gaining insight into each guests’ specific intention for their visit to Miraval and to then effectively tailor the value of Miraval’s offerings to meet the specific wants, interests, and needs of each guest

• VIP Experience Planner must be personable, articulate, well-spoken and persuasive. They must be computer savvy as well as resourceful and dependable

• VIP Experience Planner will greet guests upon arrival and assist with VIP tours.

• Work independently using resources provided.

• Prioritize tasks and handle multiple duties simultaneously while remaining highly organized with attention to detail and consistent follow-up

• Respond timely to requests for information and assistance from guests, agents and other resort employees by using good judgement when independent decisions are required

• Assist with Reservation and Experience shared inboxes from the Miraval website

• Attend training classes to stay current on all aspects of Miraval procedures, services and offerings

• Ensure that all guests have been assisted prior to leaving for the day.

• Must be familiar with the operation of property management software, email, routine database activity, graphics, and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Windows

• Know how to operate printers and other office equipment

• Minimum of 2 years of high-end sales and customer service experiences

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to skillfully articulate resort information to guests and new agents

• Must be completely flexible and be able to work weekdays, weekends, mid shifts, nights and holidays

Educations / Experiences

No prior experience or training necessary.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to read and interpret retail product labeling, as well as the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. As well as the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
