Full Time Onsite, Monday-Friday 8 hours, flexible hours available!
The Business Service Representative is responsible for ensuring that patients receive appropriate and timely access to services in our outpatient addiction services department. They coordinate the admissions process, including pre-admission screening, insurance verification and overall coordination of the admission process.
As the Business Service Representative, you will:
- Responsible for the accurate registration, co-pay collection and scheduling of patients within the departments.
- Assists internal and external patients with all clerical tasks within the office.
- The individual must communicate in a positive, professional manner and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Able to display a drive to provide patient-centered experiences through appropriate inquiry.
- Advocacy and education for the patient and families, and collaborations with referral sources.
- Must be comfortable with learning new software and ensuring data entry into billing software.
- Provides positive patient experience from screening incoming patient calls to the end of the visit.
- Maintain schedule and appointments for all staff.
The Business Service Representative candidates will have the following:
- Previous Intake/Admissions in a hospital setting strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sufficient typing and computer skills; experience with Electronic Health Record and Excel preferred
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
