Full Time 32 Hours - Evenings 3PM - 11:30PM including every other weekend
The Intake Coordinator, under the supervision of the Director of Intake, is responsible for facilitating the admission process. As a member of the Intake and Admissions team the Intake Coordinator is responsible for processing admission referrals, obtaining insurance pre-authorizations and for assisting patients throughout the admission process.

Welcoming patient to MiraVista.

Maintaining patient privacy and safety.

Review and accept referrals based on admission criteria.

Use database to register and admit patients.

Completing all legal documents as required.

Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Intake.
Successful Intake Coordinator candidates will have the following:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.

CPR certification required.

Previous psychiatric/substance inpatient experience preferred.

Previous Intake/Admissions experience strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of Behavior Health and Substance Abuse treatment modalities.

Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.

Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Medical Record.

Crisis management and time management skills.

Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, organized and professional manner.
