Job Summary
Mirbeau Inn and Spa is looking to add a Bartender to the Wine Bar and Bistro in our Plymouth Mirbeau Inn & Spa location.

Responsibilities
- Report to work in clean uniform with nametag at the scheduled time.
- Ensure accurate measures of liquor, wines, and mixed drinks are poured and served to guests in a friendly manner.
- Assist guests in obtaining other food items and services as requested.
- Set up bar station and ensure it is properly stocked before opening (glasses, napkins, garnishes, coasters, alcohol).
- Abide by the Mirbeau policies and procedures of the resort and local Alcohol Beverage Laws.
- Check IDs before serving alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain current knowledge of beverage pricing and suggestive selling of house specialty drinks and wines to guests.
- Maintain par stock levels of liquor and wines both on the bar shelf and stockroom and assist the F&B Managers with weekly ordering and recommendations.
- Participate in month-end beverage inventories and keep control of established beverage costs.
- Keep a record of all in-house transfers and submit to Accounting Department.
- Any voids for drinks or spoilage report to be brought to the attention of the F&B Manager for approval.
- Participate in any other job-related duties assigned by the F&B Manager.
Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements
This position requires a pleasant personality and neat appearance, along with a complete knowledge of alcoholic beverages, wines, beers, and equipment. The ability to work under pressure is necessary during peak hours of operation while providing exemplary service to Mirbeau guests with quality drinks as per company standards necessary. 2 years minimum in an up-scale environment required.
