POSITION: BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA) FOR SCHOOL-BASED ECC
HOURS: up to 29 hours per week
PAY: $55/hr
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree from accredited school
- Missouri BCBA certification
- 1 year experience working with early childhood age in a school setting
- Experience facilitating Functional Behavior Analyses and delivering written reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prefer some experience supervising behavior aides
REPORTS TO: COUNSELING SUPERVISOR
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst provides Functional Behavior Analyses with accompanying reports; develops treatment plans based on results of FBA; and supervises paraprofessionals in the implementation of the FBA; works with teachers and students to increase desired results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates Functional Behavior Analyses with accompanying reports.
- Presents FBA information to schools and parents.
- Develops treatment plans utilizing results from the FBA.
- Oversee the implementation of the FBA by paraprofessionals.
- Provides consult to teachers, administrators and other school staff.
- Models interventions for aides.
- Provides direct IEP minutes to ECC children.
- Provides ongoing supervision and oversight to paraprofessionals regarding interventions.
- Refers the child and/or family for community services as needed.
- Provides behavior training to staff, and the community through seminars.
- Any other duties as specified by the supervisor
