We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to oversee the assembly, production, and logistics processes within our medical device manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for leading a production team, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and optimizing workflow efficiency. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have ERP planning experience and a basic understanding of procurement and buying functions to support operational needs.Key Areas of Responsibilities : Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the assembly and production team, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.Provide hands-on support in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electro-mechanical medical devices.Monitor production KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput and minimize downtime.Ensure compliance with ISO standards in all manufacturing processes.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment while enforcing workplace safety protocols.Utilize ERP / MRP systems to plan, schedule, and track production activities, ensuring material availability and efficient workflow.Assist in forecasting and capacity planning to meet production demands and minimize bottlenecks.Work closely with supply chain teams to coordinate material procurement and inventory management.Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet engineering specifications and regulatory requirements.Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming products or process inefficiencies.Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance overall production effectiveness.All other duties as assigned by operations manager.Preferred Qualifications : Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.Assist in placing purchase orders for critical materials, tools, and components needed for production.Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials while maintaining cost efficiency.Collaborate with the procurement team to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing strategies.Skills and Experience : 3 years of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (medical device experience preferred).Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly.Experience using ERP / MRP systems for production planning, scheduling, and inventory tracking.Knowledge of metric measurements.Able to read and write in English, following basis instructions.Able to work well with hands.?5 years mechanical assembly or related manufacturing experience.Education Requirements : High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, or Business is a plus.
