What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Engineer position at Mirion?
We are looking for an experienced IT System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background and at least 5 years of experience in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain backup solutions using Veeam software.
- Provide support to the Service Desk team, addressing issues at the end-user, network, and server application levels.
- Assist in creating and maintaining SOPs.
- Take a lead roles in IT initiatives such as Backup / Recovery and Infrastructure Monitoring (On-Prem & Cloud).
- Investigate abnormal conditions, notify stakeholders, and coordinate remedial actions as necessary.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and services. Participate in IT systems project planning, design, implementation, documentation and maintenance.
- Crosstrain team members.
