Foreman will need to demonstrate strong leadership ability, job planning, safety minded and have vast knowledge of utility construction. The crew leader will work with both experienced and new employees setting up work sites, conducting confined space entries, leading in normal trench and excavation duties, maintaining tools and materials, and promoting a strong safety culture. Responsibilities Include:
- Participating in project planning and progress updates
- Performing daily job briefs
- Completion of daily production reports
- Ability to troubleshoot and make decisive decisions in the field
- Supporting team members on site
- Monitoring the safety of the jobsite and keeping it free of hazards
- Direct and delegate duties onsite
- Must have ability to mentor future leaders and new employees
- Use common tools power and hand tools including but not limited to jackhammer, compactors, and demo saws
- Lifting objects up to 50 lbs
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
- Dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment
- OSHA 10 completed
- Has held a leadership role in a work environment
- 5 years of experience in the utility construction industry
Pay is hourly rate, the figures shown are a baseline of expected yearly earnings. Pay is based on experience and skill level and you have the opportunity to negotiate rate of pay.

License/Certification:
