Field Application Engineer

MIRTEC is a Leading Global Supplier of Technologically Advanced Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) systems to the Electronics Manufacturing Industry with its HQ based in Korea.

We are looking for highly motivated talents for entry level Field Applications Engineer role who are responsible for their tasks to be completed in timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Technical support to customers through phone calls, emails, remote control or in person visits including machine installation, software/hardware training and troubleshooting on Mirtec equipments
• Travel approximately 50% mainly west coast of US, but sometimes abroad as well.
• Support in trade shows in set up/technical presentations
  
  

Qualification:

• USA Citizen or eligible to work in USA
  
  

What you will bring (preferred but not required):

• Experience working directly with AOI and SPI equipment
• College degree in engineering or related field
• Proficiency in Korean.
• 1~2 years Experience in SMT manufacturing industry or related field
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge especially Microsoft Office products
• Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills
