What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Processing Associate position at MISA California?
Summary:
We are currently searching for Order Processor to join our growing organization in California! This position will oversee the administrative functions related to processing large volume account orders for SoCal. The Order Processing Associate will provide support for MISA’s Administration, Operations, Logistics and Accounting Departments by updating reports, communicating urgent inventory needs, and reporting any conflicts that may arise during the order fulfillment process.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the order flow including order-entry, tracking and delivery of orders for SoCal
- Processes orders
- Evaluates and enters orders in QuickBooks
- Maintains accuracy of information (price, vintage, quantity, size, etc.) and ensures information is recorded on reports shared between departments
- Prepares paperwork for the warehouse to pick orders and load trailers shipping to the customer
- Schedules appointments with customers, warehouse, and drivers
- Secures transportation with 3PLs
- Resolves issues that may arise during the process to ensure timely arrival
- Files claims as necessary for damaged or missing items
- Review PODs to confirm all product delivered as stated on the BOL / original order and issues invoices to accounts based on product received
- Informs and updates the team of the status of pending or incomplete orders, as well as any claims being processed
- Works with various departments to provide customer service assistance
- Any additional tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma with 2 years of office experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail oriented
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Commitment excellence and high standards
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred
