What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Sushi Chef position at Misaki Sushi?
Requirement : At least half a year of sushi chef experience. Basic sushi chef knowledge, rolls, prep work, cleaning. SSN needed for applying.
- Prepare Sushi - Make sushi to order and for packaging, and ensure it's fresh and high quality
- Set up and stock - Ensure prep stations are ready for service, and restock as needed
- Clean and organize - Keep the sushi station and kitchen clean and organize
- Inspect - Check the quality of sushi bar products and ensure they're rotated properly
- Maintain equipment - Take care of utensils and other non-food items, and maintain knives properly
- Skill and experience - Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and recipes, understanding of menu standards and specials, knowledge of food safety standards and practices, and basic knife skills
