Misericordia is currently hiring for a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist to provide active treatment and implement programs to consistently improve upon the physical, cognitive, and emotional supports provided to our residents with severe-profound disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in therapeutic recreation
• Minimum of one year experience supporting person with multiple disabilities
• Experience supporting persons with medically complex needs preferred
• Ability to be self-directed with strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to be flexible regarding work schedule, including working evenings and weekends.
• Meet State requirements (i.e. fingerprinting, background check, drug screening)
• Ability to meet the essential functions of the position.
