As a Laundry Aide you will help our residents to look their best! Providing Misericordia with a welcoming & pleasant environment for all.
Your laundry duties would include:
- Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
- Removing stains from items using appropriate procedures.
- Maintaining the inventory of detergents and other like items.
Characteristics of a successful candidate:
- General Housekeeping/Laundry experience.
- Maturity and enthusiasm. A commitment to working with a senior population.
- Detailed orientated, self-motivated.
- Ability to communicate. Must be able to follow written and spoken directions.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
This is a Part Time Position.
Your schedule would be:
Every Monday & Tuesday, 3 pm to 11 pm
Every other Friday, 6 am to 2 pm
Every other Saturday & Sunday, 6 am to 2 pm
Pay periods are a two-week period. You would work:
Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday & Friday – 22.5 hours
Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday – 30 hours
