Misericordia University Grounds Department invites candidates to apply for our Groundskeeper Position. The University Groundskeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic and environmental quality of the university campus. This position is responsible for the upkeep, beautification, and safety of outdoor areas including lawns, flower beds, trees, walkways, and sports fields while utilizing a multitude of tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in grounds maintenance, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
One year related experience and/or training.
Licenses/Certifications:
Current and valid Pennsylvania driver's license
R4 Department of Agriculture herbicide and pesticide license preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year
