Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Tattoo Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for body art and a strong understanding of tattooing techniques, color theory, and customer service. As a Tattoo Artist, you will be responsible for designing and executing custom tattoos that meet the artistic vision of our clients while ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
Duties
- Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and preferences, providing professional guidance on design and placement.
- Illustrate custom tattoo designs that reflect the client's vision while incorporating artistic elements.
- Execute tattoos with precision, adhering to safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure client safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment, following all health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout the tattooing process to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
- Provide aftercare instructions to clients post-tattooing to promote healing and longevity of the artwork.
- Assist in managing the studio environment, contributing to a positive atmosphere for both clients and staff.
- Engage in sales activities by promoting studio services, products, and special offers to enhance client experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tattooing with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in tattoo artistry.
- CPR/First Aid and Bloodborne pathogens certifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients.
- Ability to illustrate unique designs tailored to individual client requests.
- Experience in store management or sales is a plus but not required.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety within the studio environment.
