*Responsibilities*
1. Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
2. Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work, radiographs, and urinalysis.
3. Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as directed.
4. Monitor anesthesia and provide operative care.
5. Educate clients on animal care, treatment plans, and preventative health measures.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
7. Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately.
8. Help ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, equipment, and the clinic.
9. Participate in inventory management, including restocking supplies and medications as needed.
*Qualifications*
- Licensed veterinary technician (preferred)
- Confident in all things phlebotomy and diagnostic imaging procedures
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience in anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, and lab testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassion for animals and a commitment to patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
