What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employment Specialist position at MiSide Community Impact Network?
POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible for carrying out the services of the supported employment program by assisting consumers in obtaining and maintaining employment that is consistent with their vocational goals and recovery.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling or mental health services preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness
- Significant supervised professional experience in delivery of vocational or rehabilitation services
- Previous experience working closely with employers preferred
- If indicated, appropriate professional license / certification by state / national authority required (e.g. LMSW, LLP, RN, LPC) based on degree
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance
COMPENSATION :
37,050 to $43,566 (Full-Time / Union)
