What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Clinician (Part-Time) - MiHealth South position at MiSide?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Intake Clinician is part of a comprehensive service team that provides welcoming and dedicated customer service to individuals requesting to access services at MiHealth. Primary responsibilities include screening for services to determine need and eligibility, comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, case management, and coordination of services to best promote overall health, wellness, and recovery.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited school.
· LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LP, LLP, or other appropriate state licensure/certification.
· Minimum of one year experience in clinical services to individuals with severe mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and severe emotional disturbances/disruptive behaviors.
· Training in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of adults and children with emotional disorders.
· Bilingual - fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
