What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Mentor - MiHealth - South position at MiSide?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Youth Mentor provides guidance, advice, feedback, and support, serving as role model, teacher, advocate, and ally, depending on the specific goals and objectives of the mentee under Children, Youth and Families.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Young Adult, ages 18 through age 26, with lived experience who received mental health services, foster care and or court involvement as a youth
- Working knowledge of computer software and familiarity with databases (i.e. Word, Excel and Office 365)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for day to day job performance
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
COMPENSATION: $20.00 per hour (Part-Time, Non-Union)
