What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Clerk (Temporary) 1st Shift position at Misionero?
This role is based in Gonzales, CA and will require relocation to Yuma, AZ, seasonally. Accepts shipments and ships product by unloading, loading, and verifying shipments. Checks incoming shipments and verifies manifests. Must be able to work closely with others, have a good work ethic and ability to work within a flexible schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Checks incoming shipments
- Communicates with Sales, QA and Production regarding receipt of raw product
- Verifies all manifest information to include count & condition of items relative to PO
- Prepare reports and communicates with shipper - transporter regarding damage or shortages
- Prepare outgoing shipments by assembling, packing, protecting and labeling containers including preparing shipping manifest
- Responsible for monitoring driver’s daily logs
- Enters receiving data into company software to include Inventory control maintenance
- Documents items shipped by recording, identifying information of items and transport information
- Transfers orders received by routing or delivering items to requesting department
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies needed in Receiving; place and expedite replenishment orders as necessary
- Relocates to Yuma, AZ and Gonzales, CA dependent on business needs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong organizational & documentation skills, Quality & Time Management, Supply Management, attention to deadlines and detail, persistence, ability to work independently, high level of customer service and reporting Skills and willingness to learn new skills
- Good general computer skills
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Punctual and reliable
Experience and Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- One year plus experience
- Bilingual English - Spanish a plus
