Overview
The Replenishment Specialist is responsible for managing inventory levels in a retail store or warehouse by monitoring stock, placing orders for new supplies when needed, organizing products on shelves, and ensuring proper product availability for customers, often analyzing sales data to optimize inventory management and minimize costs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Inventory monitoring by regularly checking stock levels to identify items that need reordering.
· Order placement and generating purchase orders to replenish inventory based on sales trends and demand forecasts.
· Receiving and processing shipments, spot check incoming deliveries and ensuring accurate stock counts.
· Resposivle for maintaining min/man per category and report on a weekly basis on management meetings.
· Price management by updating price as needed and review opportunities quarterly.
· Data analysis, reviewing sales data to identify best-selling items and adjust inventory level accordingly.
· Support plant operation requisition system, such as ordering PPE, office supplies, and other items as needed.
· Collaborating with suppliers to address stick issues and ensure timely deliveries.
· Adhering to company policies related to inventory management and safety standards.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
· Strong organizational skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel skills
· Ability to make decisions and analyze data and trends
· Excellent customer service, collaboration, communication and written skills
· Must be able to build relationships internally and externally
