What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at MISIPASTA?
The Misipasta store blends the classic Italian specialty market & aperitivo bar, with modern retail experiences. A Misipasta Host has a warm, hospitable demeanor, and can perform their tasks with grace under pressure. As the ambassador to the store, this role's focus is on guest relations and the retail experience!
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to guest emails/texts/phone calls in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Misipasta retail products
- Prepare for store hours by maintaining retail inventory/needs
- Maintain cover count by confirming guest reservations, updating reservation status, and reaching out to notify/waitlist
- Understanding pace of service through awareness of timing, table status, and upcoming seatings, effectively communicates to guests if we are behind on reservations
- Communicate guest notes to Management and Chefs, and add to guest Resy profiles
- Collaborate with peers and management in curating seamless retail and dining experiences.
- Problem solve on-the-fly
Schedule:
- AM/PM & Weekend Availability Required
