What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Miskelly Furniture?
The Forklift Operator will retrieve inventory to fill customer orders and transport items to the Customer Pick Up area.
Essential Job Functions:
- Pulling merchandise from the Distribution Center and carting it on to the Customer Pickup Dock.
- Dress and communicate in a professional manner when servicing a customer.
- Have the customer sign for pickup of the merchandise.
- Physically load the merchandise onto the customer’s vehicle.
- Properly secure the merchandise in the vehicle to prevent damage during transportation.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
