As a Senior Engineer / Senior Planner - Economic Studies , you will play a pivotal role in analyzing transmission expansions to mitigate energy market inefficiencies through advanced production cost modeling tools. You'll also help shape the grid of the future by developing innovative solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and building strong partnerships with MISO stakeholders.
In this role, you will :
- Perform transmission planning studies and design strategies to align with state and federal policy requirements.
- Analyze operational scenarios in a simulated environment to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
- Assess the financial advantages for companies exploring MISO membership.
