Starting Salary Range : $133,000 - $143,000 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.
MISO's Infrastructure Platform Engineer II plays a crucial role in ensuring the secure and reliable operation of infrastructure and cloud platforms, emphasizing automation, process optimization, security, and reliability. In this role, you will create automation for infrastructure services and enable self-service provisioning of infrastructure on-prem and in public cloud solutions. Leveraging your expertise in Infrastructure as Code on VMWare and Azure, you will implement Infrastructure-as-a-Service capabilities at MISO. Continuously improve processes, design, and practice with a focus on IT services and outcomes. Diagnose and tackle complex distributed systems. Work and collaborate across teams, such as Application Development, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security. Demonstrate your knowledge and experience with scripting, automation & orchestration, and use your skills in configuration management, networking & security, source code management, and governance to help drive the organization forward in cloud and platform adoption and process maturity.
As MISO's Infrastructure Platform Engineer II , you will :
- Be part of a team that has a wide range of skills and is adept at solving sophisticated problems through automation
- Develop self-service capabilities for compliant, secure and efficient provisioning of infrastructure on VMWare and Azure
- Focus on Orchestration and Automation to improve process
- Develop infrastructure build (CI / CD) pipeline, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Build Automation for observability of the infrastructure platform, by collaborating with Monitoring and Security teams
- Deliver Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) capabilities and infrastructure automation for complex security and compliance requirements
