Starting Salary Range : $133,500 - $143,500 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.
In MISO's Senior Planning Engineer role, you'll guide and teach process improvements in interregional planning while collaborating with cross-functional teams-spanning areas within MISO including Expansion Planning, Economic Planning, and Cost Allocation. With massive transmission projects on the horizon, you'll work closely with MISO stakeholders and others in our industry to chart our course forward. Our Senior Planning Engineer will have the expertise and passion to steer impactful decisions; along with :
- A bachelor's degree or higher in one of several engineering disciplines (see qualifying degrees below).
- At least six years of experience in power system planning or operations.
- Experience with PSS / E power flow and MUST applications or knowledge of TSAT, VSAT, TARA, or POM power system analysis software.
