Miss Emily’s Bed & Biscuit is a trusted pet boarding and doggy daycare facility known for exceptional care and outstanding customer service. We’re currently looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our facility and a key part of our team.

What You’ll Do
As our Front Desk Receptionist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Basic Operations: Greeting clients and pets and maintaining a clean, professional front desk and lobby area
- Client Services: Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, ensuring every visit starts off on the right paw.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to multitask, stay organized, and problem-solve with patience and poise
- Scheduling & Bookings: Manage current and future reservation requests, coordinate daycare and boarding services, and maintain accurate records.
- Phone Communication: Manage inbound calls on a multi-line phone system, answering questions, booking services, and directing calls as needed.
- POS Management: Use our POS system to schedule appointments, check pets in and out, and process payments efficiently and accurately.
- Service Knowledge: Be familiar with our pricing, services, and programs in order to confidently answer client questions accurately.
- Customer Care: Address special requests, resolve concerns, and help create a smooth and pleasant experience for every client—especially during busy times.
- Team Support: Supporting the Animal Care Team with basic tasks when needed—this includes helping with pet handoffs, quick kennel checks, or other supportive duties.
Schedule & Availability
- Part-Time hours, with potential for additional hours during busy seasons (spring, summer, and holidays)
- Must be available for weekend shifts, morning shifts (7:00 AM - 12:00 PM) and weekday closing shifts (12:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
