Miss Hall’s School seeks a full-time Associate Director of Global Citizenship for the 2024-25 school year. The Associate Director will provide strategic vision and programming that speaks to three dimensions of global citizenship education as outlined by UNESCO: attaining knowledge and critical thinking around global issues; cultivating empathy, respect, and a sense of interconnectedness across diverse groups and perspectives; and empowering informed action toward the building of a just and inclusive world. Miss Hall's School is committed to diversifying its faculty and encourages applicants who are committed to bringing a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens to their work.
Miss Hall’s School inspires and encourages each girl to pursue the highest standards of learning and character; to contribute boldly and creatively to the common good; and to seek a purposeful life based on honor, respect, growth, and personal authenticity.
At Miss Hall’s School, we champion social justice; insist that all community members demonstrate respect for each other through words and actions; and affirm that diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to learning and problem solving, discovery and personal growth, and cultivating empathy and cultural competency. Guided by these beliefs, and with the understanding that being an inclusive community requires ongoing work and commitment, we foster cross cultural dialogue and allyship to honor and celebrate our diverse community.
Role & Responsibilities
Research has shown that women, trans, non-binary, and BIPOC individuals often do not apply for jobs because they perceive their qualifications as falling short of the listed requirements, even when they may be sufficient. We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, and our primary focus is on identifying the best candidate for the role. We encourage all applicants to interpret the job qualifications broadly and consider how their unique skills and experiences align with the position.

About Miss Hall's School
Founded in 1898, Miss Hall’s School was one of the first all-girls boarding schools established in New England. Today the School is a nationally recognized, boarding and day independent secondary school that combines an exceptional college-preparatory curriculum with two acclaimed leadership programs, Horizons and the Girls’ Leadership Project. Both programs are central to our belief that, in addition to outstanding academic preparation, girls need additional skills that allow them to step confidently into college and beyond, when they will be expected to communicate effectively and authentically, voice opinions with resolve and respect, and be comfortable having influence, leading change, and contributing boldly and creatively to the common good.
