Server

As a Server at Miss J's Cafe, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your role will include taking food and drink orders, delivering meals, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take their orders, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations.
• Order Management: Accurately enter orders into the system and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner.
• Meal Delivery: Serve food and drinks to customers efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Payment Processing: Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Table Maintenance: Ensure tables are clean, organized, and fully stocked with utensils, napkins, condiments, and other essentials.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Guest Satisfaction: Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following food safety standards and cafe policies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service or serving role preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift trays, and move quickly as required.
