Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, including first aid and childhood development.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childcare principles and early childhood development.
- Experience working with toddler-aged children in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff members.
- First aid certification is preferred but not required.

Schedule
- Tuesday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
