Job Title: Junior Technical Writer
Clearance: Secret
Office Location: Onsite full-time at Ft. Belvoir, VA
Travel: Up to 10% (to Pentagon)
Responsibilities:
- Track actions and assist in the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) while monitoring workflow of the directorate.
- Create, review, and edit policy and packages and other written documents in accordance with AR 25-50 (Preparing and Managing Correspondence), DA Memo 25-52 (Staff Action Process and Correspondence Policies), and other applicable Army publications and policies.
- Author and manage a variety of cyber documents, including policies, procedures, along with acquisition-related documentation.
- Provide authoring services to the G-6 and the CIO
- Create, maintain, and publish Department of the Army Pamphlets (DA PAMs).
- Update cybersecurity policies and acquisition documents to ensure compliance with Army standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely publication of all documentation.
- Expertise in taking real time notes in executive meetings and then publish a summarized version of meeting minutes
- Ability to work with Executive Assistants and cross train
Qualifications:
- Must have Army experience, with a preference for experience in the CIO or G-6 offices.
- An understanding of ETMS2.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
