About You

The Ideal Candidate would be willing and able to uphold high standards of medical excellence and foster collaboration within our team environment.  Excellent surgery skills are all equally important.

Experience & Skills Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
• State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

About Our Hospital

Mission Animal Hospital is a small animal practice located in San Luis Obispo providing full-service medical, dental, and surgical care. We use the best of both traditional and therapies-- such as herbs, homeopathy, and nutrition-- to optimize our pet's health. We actively work with local specialists in surgery, radiology, dermatology, and internal medicine.

Our hospital has a collaborative experienced team and a committed to positive work environment – we pursue growth and learning as we strive for greatness. We pride ourselves on compassionate care and high standards of medical excellence.

We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $140,000.00/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
