Business Office Manager Assistant
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Office Manager Assistant to support our Business Office Manager in various administrative and financial tasks. This role is essential in ensuring smooth office operations, managing financial processes, and assisting with resident benefits and payments. This is a skilled nursing setting, you will be expected to follow HIPAA confidentiality. You will have interaction with residents and may be expected to help with their needs on occasion.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10A Process Support: Assist with completing and processing 10A applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Accounts Payable (AP) Management: Process invoices, maintain accurate AP records, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely payments.
- Representative Payee Applications: Help gather required documentation, submit applications, and track progress for residents needing a Representative Payee.
- General Administrative Support: Assist with filing, data entry, document organization, and other office duties as assigned by the Business Office Manager.
- Resident Financial Assistance: Support in maintaining financial records for residents, answering inquiries, and ensuring proper documentation is in place.
- Compliance & Record-Keeping: Ensure all financial and administrative records meet compliance standards and are up to date.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an administrative, accounting, or office management role preferred.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and financial processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
