Our Downtown Bakersfield Business Banking Center is seeking a Relationship Manager II to join the team! The Relationship Manager II makes and services all types of business loans and lines of credit, both secured and unsecured. The position calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business and increase or retain existing business relationships, and keeps informed as to the status of loans in their portfolio. The position provides financial counsel to current and prospective customers, and handles all but more complex types of loans.
Essential responsibilities, include but are not limited to :
- Meet and exceed your monthly performance based goals.
- Develop and implement a sales plan to attract new business to Mission Bank while maintaining and deepening existing relationships.
- Responsible for acquiring and servicing business relationships, in accordance with set goals including : multiple business and individual deposit accounts, Treasury Management services, all loans and lines of credit, merchant accounts and all product lines available.
- Proactively looks to expand client base by cultivating referral relationships, participating in networking functions, soliciting / telemarketing target market clients / prospects and building a book of business in the local community.
- Reviews, processes and prepares documentation for new accounts and loans to ensure compliance to legal and bank requirements.
- Perform more complex banking transactions; conform to legal and bank requirements; cross sell bank products and services; execute client transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Mentor lower level Relationship Managers and leverage your knowledge to aid in their advancement by proactively coaching and training areas of weakness.
- Enhance the loyalty and profitability of existing relationships, growing new profitable relationships, and referring opportunities to other parts of the company.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Additional duties may be required as needed.
- Attends training and maintains a basic knowledge of procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, with an emphasis on the BSA / AML / CIP.
Requirements :
Target salary : $160,443 per year, depending on experience.
