What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback position at Mission Beach House?
The Barback is responsible for providing guests with a positive dining experience through excellent organization skills, maintaining bar stock and assisting bartenders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent guest service according to expectations outlined in the training manual § Carries out all tasks necessary to prepare the restaurant for service prior to pre-shift
- Maintains shift par levels on all bottles, beer, mixers, juices and fruit garnishes
- Keeps all service wells stocked with ice
- Maintains cleanliness of work area behind and adjacent to bar
- Completes daily and weekly side work on a consistent and thorough basis
- Assists other staff members as necessary
- Completes additional tasks as assigned by the management team
- Keeps management informed of any problems, complaints from guests or other team members § Follows all company policies as outlined in company handbook
Accountabilities:
- Addresses all guests in a positive and professional way, promoting company high-quality products and services
- Takes all actions with guest’s best interest in mind, so as to continue to build new business and to avoid guest complaints
- Adheres to all barback expectations as defined in the training manual at 100%
