4324 - Physical Therapist

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapist to join their team and provide exceptional physical therapy services. The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (preferred), a valid Texas license, and BCLS certification. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans based on physician orders, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to restore patients to their maximum level of independence. The Physical Therapist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring equipment safety, and participating in departmental initiatives to enhance service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients, set goals, and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.
• Deliver physical therapy services to restore patient function and promote independence in accordance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
• Demonstrate clinical competencies in physical therapy techniques, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with departmental policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all departmental, hospital, and corporate policies, including those related to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Participate in inter-departmental and intra-departmental communication to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• Assist in guiding technicians and support personnel in their duties, promoting a cohesive and efficient team environment.
• Ensure therapeutic equipment is safe, properly maintained, and operated correctly.
• Assume responsibility for monitoring and maintaining physical therapy charges as per department standards.
• Engage in departmental educational programs and contribute to the continuous improvement of therapy services provided.
• Actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the physical therapy department.

Must-Have's:

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist and ability to provide a copy to the hospital.
• Maintain current BCLS certification.
• Open to new graduates or experienced Physical Therapists.

Salary: $40-$52/hour dependent on experience
